Mugdha often refers to the archetype of a young nayika (heroine) in the classical arts. Gauri Diwakar and her group explore the play of aesthetics with their Kathak performance. The dance uses the text that describes the beauty of Radha. It is a journey of this experience of eternal love that can be transformative, where the beauty of Radha goes beyond mere physicality, where her soul lies bare only holding love for Krishna. Where she dances with abandon and carefree spirit in the flowering of the eternal love.
