Dr. Rajan Mahan is a professor of Journalism and currently heads the Department of Mass Communication at the University of Rajasthan. Before joining his current academic position, Professor Mahan was an eminent television journalist who was widely seen on Star News and NDTV. As Resident Editor, he headed India’s premier news channel NDTV in Rajasthan for nearly two decades.His sensitive and incisive coverage of issues in Rajasthan has been widely appreciated by both,experts and ordinary viewers. His journalistic contributions won Dr Mahan over a dozen awards for his insightful reportage at the state and national level.
